ISO Focus April 2004

Petroleum and natural gas is one of the world's largest and most vibrant industries. Mankind's use of petroleum is as old as recorded history, with ancient cultures finding the stickiness of crude oil useful for binding things together, and its water repellent properties useful. Today, petroleum fuels our vehicles, lights our cities, and provides the very building blocks of modern life. In recognition of this key industry and the role standards play in it, the April 2004 ISO Focus magazine featured the petroleum industry. API has arranged with ISO for this edition to be available as a free download on TC 28's and TC 67's website. We hope you download, share and enjoy this publication.
