General Participation in the AOPL / API Pipeline Benchmarking Survey (PBS) is open to all interested pipeline companies. Currently, the focus of the survey is on North American operations and, in particular, the U.S. and Canada. The interest of companies outside this sphere is welcome, but benchmarking and regression calculations do require a minimum of six or seven pipelines to produce meaningful results. (Please click here to read about the 2007 PBS). The PBS is only one of several benchmarking activities undertaken by the API. The reasons for benchmarking, and the approach that the API undertakes ensures that companies receive the highest quality results and data handling possible, for a minimal cost. (Please click here to read more about the API approach to benchmarking). If your company is interested in participating in the PBS, please contact
the survey coordinator for more information. PBS Commitment and Agreement
