The EHS Benchmarking group is open to all companies. The following is a list of the companies that participated during the 2006 data cycle and all are expected to return for the 2007 data cycle:

  • BP
  • Chevron
  • ConocoPhillips
  • ExxonMobil
  • Hess
  • Marathon Oil
  • Shell
  • Sunoco

The cost of the project is constant and divided among the participants based on size. For the 2007 data cycle, the cost ranges from $8,200 to about $11,100 per company. The database covers data as far back as 1997 and new participants are encouraged to provide at least 2-3 years' worth of historical data so they can benefit from trend analysis immediately.

Please review the agreement form which specifies how the data are used and the limitations on data use. Also, please use the links on the left to view the survey forms as well as other documents that the group uses.

It is important to note that only participating companies can access the data and the secure files. Companies pay for this report by paying the monetary fee in addition to paying with their own company's data. Companies that sign the agreement, pay the fee and then do not supply API with data do NOT get access to the database. Also, under no circumstance can a company that did not participate "buy" access to the database.
