XML Document Development supporting EPA ULSD D&T

The EPA requires reporting custody exchange of 15ppm & 500ppm sulphur content in Diesel Petroleum Products between every Entity/Facility in the US. (40 CFR Part 80) Recording is to begin June 1, 2006. First EPA report due FEB 2007.

UOM Standard

The purpose of this project is to determine which of two UOM standards should be endorsed as the official PIDX standard: UN/ECE or ANSI. Currently, PIDX endorses both standards but as we move forward with both transactions and catalogs, it will become increasingly important to comply with a single standard.

Safety Data Standard Review and Electronic Message Development

The purpose of this project is to develop electronic message(s) to convey health, safety and environmental data to operators according to industry accepted standards. This project includes a review of API RP 76 “Contractor Safety Management for Oil and Gas Drilling and Production Operations” standard with the intent to recommend revisions based on review of various industry and company questionnaires.

In addition to recommendations for additions to the existing standard, it is also anticipated that this project will include development of standard business processes and terminology definitions. The final stage of the project is development of electronic business message(s) to provide data electronically to operators or their agents.

This data will enable operators to create an informative view of the performance of each contractor’s personnel safety program(s) globally and with geographic segmentation.
