Who We Are
Members of the PIDX Standards & Guidelines Subcommittee are a blend
of people with disparate interests and talents who come together to address
our industry's Electronic Commerce (EC) requirements. Our members with
a business background provide a valuable contribution to the team by articulating
our industry's requirements in a clear and meaningful manner. Our information
technologists are there to ensure the solutions to our industry's requirements
are those that are the most effective and efficient with respect to ASC
X12, UN/EDIFACT, and XML architecture.
What We Do
PIDX is an aggressive, goal-oriented organization that offers benefits
and services that assures you and your company will always be a part of
the EC process. The PIDX Standards & Guidelines Subcommittee is your
company's link to the national and international forums for EC standards
development and maintenance. This committee represents the industry's
interests in all facets of the EC standards development process. Standards
& Guidelines Subcommittee members attend ASC X12 Trimester Meetings
to monitor and ensure the PIDX Specific Interest Groups (SIGS) and the
industry have adequate representation and a voice in the standards-setting
arena.
The PIDX Standards & Guidelines Subcommittee is also there to serve
each SIG in their unique EC standards development and maintenance efforts
as well as assist them in the application and implementation of existing
EC standards to satisfy focused business requirements.
